IS LOCALIZATION SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN?

            Localization in this case is a place where the prostitutes are centered by good intention so that they can be controlled. Being controlled means the pims (mucikari) and the government or even religious/social organizations can make necessary actions in the area, such as the spreading prevention of certain sex diseases by giving socialization and certain treatment to the prostitutes, banning the underage prostitute (or the underage costumer), or even persuading and helping the prostitutes to have a better a way of life etc.

            Even though localized with tthe good intention to control, localization also brings problem and dilemma, especially to those who live near it. While some of them can take the advantages of the area economically, some of them can get the very negative impact of it socially; for example, children not supervised are easily affected by their environment, they tend to become the costumer or the prostitute later.

            With many good reasons some believe it’s important to shut down a localization. In the other hand, some believe it will not end the main problem of the localization itself; the prostitution. The one who agrees with the localization thinks, beside the reason given in the first paragraph, that as long as there are poverty, lack of education, and man who pays a lot to the prostitute, the prostitute will be still exist, no matter there is localization or not.

3.     Should a localization be shut down? Or preserved to be controlled?

4.     If a localization should be shut down, what government should do to localization place and people before and after it’s shut down?

5.     If a localization should be preserved, what governemnt should do to make sureit would not bring a terrible social impact?
